11th Annual Taylor Bray Farm Sheep Festival
Time: 10 a.m. to 4.p.m. (rain or shine)
Location: Taylor Bray Farm, Bray Farm Road, Yarmouth Port
Highlights include sheepherding & sheepshearing, wool spinning demos & sales, rug hooking demos & sales, hearth cooking, weaving demos & sales, haywagon rides and a silent auction. Refreshments feature "The X-Grill" and the Dr. of Grillology from Breakaway, Hall Oil Co.

Cape Cod Seal Tour
Time: 2 to 3:30 p.m.
Location: Leaves Meeting House Pond in Orleans and travels to Chatham Harbor
Want to see more than just seals, osprey, heron and maybe a shark? Our 18-mile round trip from Orleans to Chatham will thrill you from start to finish! You will see five islands, a saltwater river, barrier beaches and more. USCG Licensed Master Captain Rob tells a story like no other, full of tales about shipwrecks, pilgrims, pirates and Native Americans. USCG inspected vessel. Dry boarding, wind breakers recommended.

Cape Cod Highland Lighthouse tours
Time: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Location: Highland Light Road, North Truro
Climb 69 steps to the top of the lighthouse and view a video depicting the history, moving and
re-lighting of Highland Light. Children must be 48 inches tall to climb stairs.

“Catch the Wind: Kite Boarding & Wind Surfing on Cape Cod” exhibit
Time: Tues-Sat 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sun noon to 4 p.m.
Location: Cape Cod Maritime Museum, 135 South Street, Hyannis
Catch the Wind narrates part of the ever-evolving story of Cape Cod’s maritime recreation sports, through inspiring photographs and historic & contemporary artifacts including boards & sails. The exhibit will also show evidence of the early beginnings of wind surfing on Cape Cod, and the fast-growing world of kite boarding in the new millennium. Featuring video footage of the world speed sailing record-holder, Rob Douglas of Martha’s Vine-yard, who captured his win via kite sailing in 2009, clocking in at 55.65 knots! Exhibit open through September 23rd.

Harbor Your Arts Artist Shanties
Location: Ocean Street/Bismore Park, Hyannis
Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Unique harbor front location for artists to create and sell their work. Visit individual artists whose work is as unique as the artists themselves. Painting, photography, rope work, ceramics, jewelry, tapestry, stained glass and so much more!

Hidden Hyannis Walk
Time: 10 a.m. to noon
Location: Meet at the Sea Street Beach parking lot, Hyannis
Join us for a unique walk through diverse territory, led by Red Bansfield, BLT’s Land Manager. Explore a beach, BLT’s Circo Pond, an ancient cemetery and a backyard vegetable farm. Angell Organics grows produce sold at the Hyannis Farmers Market. Enjoy the serene side of Hyannis that few get to explore! After the walk, join the Cape Cod Maritime Festival (music, seafood, boat exhibits) at the Cape Cod Maritime Museum at 135 South Street.

Kayak the Waterways of the Lower Cape: Sunrise Maritime Days Finale
Time: 7 to 9:30 a.m.
Location: Sunrise on Nauset Marsh, Eastham
Explore the maritime past by paddling Cape Cod’s storied coastal waterways with local science teacher and longtime kayak guide, Dick Hilmer. Kayak instruction is included during these natural history tours. Paddle through sheltered creeks, into bays and marshes, and towards islands rich in cultural history. No experience is necessary. Perfect for novice or experienced paddlers. All equipment is provided including kayak, paddle, lifejacket and instruction – just bring a smile and a bottle of water, and $30 per person.

Orleans River Cruise
Time: 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Location: Leaves Meeting House Pond in Orleans
Enjoy the natural beauty of a saltwater river on a leisurely one-hour cruise for passengers of all ages. Our fully guided tour winds down the River from Orleans to Little Pleasant Bay. Enroute, we will sightsee for heron, osprey and the occasional seal. USCG Licensed Master Captain Rob will enlighten those aboard about the natural world of the River and some of the area’s darker secrets. USCG inspected vessel.
Cost: $25 adults, $20 children. Reservations required.

Three-Hour Maritime Bike Rental Package
Time: Open 9 am to 5 pm daily
Location: The Little Capistrano Bike Shop, Salt Pond Road, EasthamBike the Nauset Marsh bike trail to the Coast Guard Station and then along Ocean View to Nauset Lighthouse! Also, enjoy biking on The Cape Cod Rail Trail. Bike and helmet included, along with a souvenir water bottle. On Sundays, Nauset Lighthouse is open from 1 to 4 p.m.

Tides of Provincetown Exhibit
Time: Mon- Sat 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Thurs 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Sun noon-5 p.m.
Location: Cape Cod Museum of Art, 60 Hope Lane, Dennis
Exhibition showcasing the highlights of the Provincetown art colony over the past 100 years, including maritime pieces. While there, check out the museum’s new addition to the museum’s permanent collection, the ship model of the clipper ship, Torrens created by Francis Crowell. The Torrens was one of the most famous ships of her time and may be the finest ship ever launched from a Sunderland shipyard in the UK.
Cost: Adults $8; members and children 18 years and under are free

Tours of Nauset Lighthouse
Time: 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Location: Nauset Light, Ocean View Drive, North Eastham
Guided tours of the lighthouse, open to the public. Please park in the Nauset Beach parking lot. Parking fees may apply.
