The annual Cape Cod Maritime History Symposium is sponsored by Cape & Islands Maritime Research Association, an organization dedicated to exploring and commemorating maritime heritage and contemporary maritime culture through public information, research programs and educational activities.

The 10th Annual Cape Cod Maritime History Symposium will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at the Cape Codder Resort & Spa in Hyannis . The day-long event features interesting lectures and discussions by leaders in the field of maritime history. The agenda for this year's event is below:
