Ambassadors
To strengthen member involvement, educate members on benefits and programs and help meet member needs and expectations.
Bed & Breakfast
To coordinate the marketing efforts of the Chamber with the special qualities of the Cape’s historic bed & breakfasts and inns, and to provide programs to support these businesses.
Budget & Finance
To oversee all financial management of the Chamber and make recommendations to the board of directors regarding budgets and committee projects.
Business Book Club
To share ideas and concepts from business writers that will enhance the operations of local business and non-profit entities.
Bylaw & Personnel Policy
To review and recommend policies and bylaw changes for approval by the board of directors.
Cape & Islands Green
A cooperative committee with the local Chambers of Commerce and other entities to educate and encourage people in their places of work to engage in better practices which reduce our collective impact on the natural environment.
License Plate Marketing
A cooperative committee with Barnstable County, the Lower Cape Cod Community Development Corporation, Dukes and Nantucket counties to promote the Cape Cod & Islands license plate.
Public Policy
To research public policy issues; to recommend positions to the board of directors and to advocate for these issues with local, regional, state and federal policymakers.
Retail Council To strengthen and support the retail industry on Cape Cod.
Sports Council
To promote the Cape as a venue for sporting events and to support those events’ needs.
Tourism Marketing
To implement the marketing plan for Cape Cod as the destination of choice travelers from around the globe. To do this, we convene quarterly meetings of the hospitality industry and regular meetings of smaller working groups to implement activities that reach their target markets (i.e. Motorcoach, meeting & incentive, international, weddings and more.)
