Continuing education  

On Cape Cod, a lifetime of learning is possible!  Any resident of Cape Cod who has completed their formal education, but desires to continue learning, can find “adult education” or “night school” classes in most of the public school districts: Chatham, Falmouth, Harwich and Sandwich among them. Massachusetts Maritime Academy and Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School both offer continuing education classes.

Cape Cod Community College welcomes all persons sixty or over to take day and evening credit courses tuition-free (any class fees would have to be covered). The college is also the current home of The Academy for Lifelong Learning, whose members commit to a dynamic intellectual and social participation within the Academy. The primary qualification for membership is the reaching of a fiftieth birthday.
