“Head Above Water: The Building of the Cape Cod Canal”

Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Old Colonial Courthouse, Route 6A, Barnstable Village
Lecture will be led by author Jack Conway, who will personalize copies of his new
book on the canal for those who might like to purchase a copy. Lecture will be
followed by a dessert social Sponsored by Tales of Cape Cod.

Kayak the Waterways of Cape Cod
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.      
Location: Waquoit Bay, East Falmouth
Explore the natural beauty and maritime history of Cape Cod’s unique water
trails by kayak, led by certified kayak instructor and coastal naturalist Dick Hilmer
and his team of certified guides.
Cost: Cost is $20 for adults and $15 for children 16 years of age or under. Proceeds
to benefit the Waterways of Cape Cod project of the Provincetown Center for Coastal
Studies.
